Biography

Mr Amos C. Mpofu is a seasoned academic and lecturer in the Department of Accounting Sciences within the esteemed Faculty of Business and Economic Sciences. Mr. Mpofu has served as a dedicated educator and an active contributor to various academic, ICT senate and administrative boards. Mr. Mpofu's notable achievements is passionate advocate for the use of technology effectively in organsiations by bridging the gap between information systems and business requirements. Mr. Mpofu holds a Master of Science in Information Systems, MBA (Banking and Finance), complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Information systems and Computer Science and is working toward a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education and is pursuing PhD studies. With this academic background and extensive experience, he brings a wealth of expertise to his teaching, research, and administrative roles.

In summary, Amos C. Mpofu is a respected figure within the academic community, dedicated to shaping the minds of future business leaders, promoting innovation, contributing to the advancement of knowledge, and has presented at numerous conferences and published articles across a variety of fields including artificial intelligence, FinTech, information systems, computer packages and their application to accounting, banking, insurance, financial services and education.
