Master of Science Degree in Records and Archives Management (Block-Release)
Entry Requirements
Applicants must have the following qualifications (or equivalent):
- To be considered for admission to the Master of Science Degree programme, a candidate should normally hold an Upper Second 2.1 Class Honours Degree in Records and Archives Management; Records Management; Archival Science; Information Studies; History or Heritage Studies from an accredited University or higher education institution.
- Applicants with a lower Second 2.2 Class Honours Degree in the above areas will be required to have at least two years post-qualification experience.
- Applicants with any other good first Degree in a field other than those listed in (first bullet) will be required to have at least two years post-qualification practical experience in a records and archives establishment for consideration to be admitted into the Master of Science Degree programme.
- The duration for the Master of Science Degree in Records and Archives Management shall be 24 months
- Subject to a viable class, lectures shall be conducted during weekends (Fridays,Saturdays and Sunday)and on Public Holidays only in Bulawayo and Harare.
NB: Admission into the above programmes will be subject to adequate numbers of applicants qualifying to make a class.
A non-refundable application fee of RTGS100, must accompany the Application Form.

- Birth Certificate
- National Registration Identity Card
- Relevant academic and/or professional Certificates and Transcripts
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae, which should include names and addresses of two referees
