Before taking up an appointment with NUST I had gained extensive experience as a high school teacher at Swazi High School for 10 years rising to the post of Senior Master. I also taught in a Special Needs King George VI Memorial School for 6 years being the Head of the Secondary School Department. I was then promoted to serve as an Art and Design lecturer at Hillside Teachers College although I did not assume duty as I was offered a Temporary full-time job as a lecturer at NUST. I have also been a ZIMSEC Examiner since 2010- to date in Combined Science and Integrated Science with excellent marking grades and was promoted to a Belt Marking Supervisor (BMS).

Community Service/Engagement

I have also done extensive community service by chairing the Brethren In Christ Church (BICC) Matopo District Christian Education Committee. I have been convening meetings and workshops to train Sunday school teachers, superintendents, and zonal representatives. I have also served as a volunteer Pastor at BICC Shiloh-Madlindevu to date being in charge of all the church activities, administration, and Sunday school lessons. I have also served as a vice chairperson of the Matopo District Committee. Furthermore, I have volunteered to coach the Students’ Paralympics Team since 2022 to date at NUST.
