Methuseli Moyo (49) has 27 years' practical journalism experience during which he worked as a reporter and chief reporter for the Chronicle between 1997 and 2001, before being appointed news editor of Sunday News, a position he held till 2004 when he joined ZBC as Editor In Chief/CEO for SFM Radio (now Classic 263) until 2007 when he left to pursue private practice as a correspondent with various on-line and international organizations. He joined NUST as a temporary full-time lecturer in August 2001, becoming permanent in January 2024. He teaches news writing courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate classes.

He holds an MSc in Journalism and Media Studies (NUST), a BA in Media Studies (ZOU), and a National Diploma in Mass Communication (Harare Polytech). His reading interests are around news framing.

Moyo is a father of three. He is married to Ntombizodwa Mhlanga.
